Acero completes many Regulatory applications and notifications requirements for clients in various locations in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Acero has a full time Regulatory department that manages all matters relating to government regulations and provides guidance throughout a projects life regarding compliance with procedures and regulations. Some of the governing bodies that Acero has dealt with include:

  • Saskatchewan Ministry of Economy Petroleum & Natural Gas Division

  • Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)

Additionally, activities that Acero’s Regulatory department has been involved in include:

  • Facility/Pipeline new licenses and amendments
  • D56 Notification Letters
  • Preparation of reports for applicable applications
  • Facility/Pipeline application audit packages
  • DDS submissions for facility / pipeline applications
  • Notice of construction start, pressure testing and leave to open
  • Assisting with information requests and non-compliance events
  • Continual support to project team to ensure regulatory compliance
  • ERCB H2S calculations to determine EPZ and release volumes
